Yelp's Eletric Summer in Hampton Roads

I received a notice in my email for an event hosted by Yelp.com, called Yelp's Eletric Summer. This event will be held at Norfolk Waterside Marriott on Wednesday, August 28th. This is a must attend event!! There will be tons of delicious foods from local eateries and services provided by local companies. I encourage all local 757ers to attend the event and support local businesses, not to mention, try some new things! This event is Free and supports SPCA so please bring a donation.

Despite the summer coming to an end Yelp Hampton Roads is still in party mode. So come celebrate the summer with us electric style! On Wednesday, August 28 from 7–9pm, Yelpers 21 and older are invited to join in at Norfolk Waterside Marriott's Hampton Roads Ballroom for Yelp's Electric Summer! Here's the lowdown on all the goodies we've got planned just for you, so don't forget to RSVP!

What's a party without bangin' bites? Satisfy that savory craving with spicy pepper and sweet berry surprises from Seasons Restaurant & Tavern, a taste of Bangladesh from Cilantro Bangladeshi Bistro, Southeast Asian fare from Lemongrass Grille, homemade mozzarella cheese from Mannino's Italian Bistro, great local seafood from Hot Tuna, homemade pulled pork barbeque from All The Fixins and tasty appetizers from Shorebreak. Feeling sweet? Enjoy chocolate treats from The Royal Chocolate, cream puffs and cake from Yum Yum's Heavenly Bakery, and French macarons from Terebinth. Quench your thirst with all-natural Kombuchick! And we'll have a cash bar for boozy beverages.

While you eat and drink yourselves silly, indulge in the cool and sexy lighting from Stage Right Lighting while dancing away with musical entertainment courtesy of Colonial DJs. When you need a break there will be a few lounge areas thanks to our friends at Big Top Entertainment. Don't forget to jump into the Boardwalk Photo Booth to say cheese and commemorate the occasion!
