The 8th Annual International Caribbean Festival, Caribfest at Town Point Park, Downtown Norfolk, Saturday, August 17, 2013.  This year's theme: "UNITY THROUGH DIVERSITY."

Come celebrate and experience a dazzling fusion of colors, music, masqueraders and incredible Art that resonates with the infectious tropical rhythmic sounds of REGGAE, the exciting beat of CALYPSO, SALSA, and SOCA music. This is a day of tropical rhythm, cuisine, and culture as only the Caribbean can offer! CaribFest is no ordinary festival! It is a vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture.

Come join us at Town Point Part, Norfolk and enjoy the pulsating sound of the STEELPAN and experience an amazing line-up of internationally acclaimed artists and entertainers from around the Caribbean performing live on stage and whet your appetite at one of the many food vendors. Enjoy the colorful parade portion of the Festival including stilt dancers, elaborate costumes and folklore characters.

J’Ouvert Boatride on the Spirit of Norfolk, a fun and festive, three-deck dining cruise vessel. Begin to party early in the spacious climate-controlled interiors, outdoor strolling decks and a large outdoor patio deck.
