Virginia Full Figured Fashion Week is accepting Vendor / Exhibitor Applications for our "Diva's Closet" shopping and vendor fair on Saturday, October 26, 2013 and Sunday, October 27, 2013. We are seeking businesses that provide products (clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, handbags, art, books, music, health and beauty, hair care, etc) and services (massage, facials, fitness programs, etc) that cater to women. About the Event:
Virginia Full-Figured Fashion Week (VF3W) is a week long event that focuses not only on fashion but the health and empowerment of full-figured women. We seek to reach this goal by providing an opportunity for businesses that cater to full-figured women to showcase their products and services.
Research has shown that in 2001 nearly 40% of American women were considered “plus size” or “full-figured” (University of North Carolina, 2007) and the trend has risen steadily over the past ten years. Like me, these women desire flattering, fashionable clothing that is affordable and easily accessible. Full-figured women have proven to be loyal consumers and because desirable plus size clothing is so hard to find, we are guaranteed to be devoted to brands that meet our expectations.

- The “Curves & Cocktails” launch party
- Empowering workshops and seminars
- "Cuties on the Runway" fashion with children models ages 2-13
- "Positivity Rocks" youth talent showcase sponsored by Ge2k'd (Kevin Jackson)
- Informational booths providing screenings and resources on women’s health care issues
- 2 runway shows featuring all full-figured models showcasing styles by emerging designers
- The “Diva’s Closet” shopping fair
